PLAVE appeared on the cover of anan magazine, issue 2469. On "ananweb", all five members showcased their unique personalities in a lighthearted Q&A series. The second feature spotlights Noah — PLAVE's main vocalist and a member of the "Producerz" unit, responsible for songwriting, composition, and production.
Q. What is the first thing you do after waking up?
I turn off my phone alarm, stay in bed for five more minutes, and take about 30 minutes to get ready. I brush my teeth, wash my face and hair, and get dressed. But I usually skip breakfast.
Q. What do you do before going to bed?
After doing my skincare routine, I check fan comments on our communication platform. If I have time, I'll put on some eye cream too. I know I should use face masks, but I usually skip them out of laziness. Reading fans' sweet and loving messages always lifts my mood and makes me feel comforted.
Q. What is your idea of a perfect day?
Just lying around all day!
Q. What is a small joy in your daily life?
My happiest moments are when I can simply lie down and rest without doing anything at all.
Q. A phrase you often say?
I often yawn with a loud "Uwaa~". I do it at least five times a day — right after waking up, between shoots, or while waiting. The members are always caught off guard when they hear it (laughs).
Q. What flavor do you like best?
Sweet things.
Q. If you could create a new holiday, what would it celebrate?
One day a week dedicated to staying in and doing absolutely nothing.
Q. Something you just can't throw away?
My muscles.
Q. What do you have the most of in your photo folder?
Mostly pics from practice and stuff I use for making music.
Q. What is your favorite entertainment work?
The Korean drama Goblin: The Lonely and Great God.
Q. Something you always keep in your fridge?
Chicken breast.
Q. Moment that made you laugh recently?
I spend time with the members nearly every day, and they always get a laugh out of me—at least once!
Q. Moment that made you cry recently?
The sight of countless lightsticks shining in the audience during the concert was incredibly moving. I nearly cried, but I didn't!
Q. Your charm point?
I laugh easily, even at the little things.
Q. What are you strongest at within the group?
I genuinely enjoy working out and when it comes to cute slip-ups, I'm unbeatable.
Q. In what way do you think you have grown since debuting?
I've been learning to be more collaborative. I used to be the type to focus deeply on things alone, but being part of a team has opened my eyes to perspectives I couldn't have discovered on my own.
Q. A compliment that makes you happy?
"You were amazing on stage." After all, artists are meant to shine on stage.
Q. How do you motivate yourself?
I tell myself, "Don't overthink. Just enjoy it!"
Q. Compliment yourself.
I'd give myself credit for my strong determination to keep working hard, and the effort I put into staying fit and eating well.
Q. What is a reward you give yourself?
A full day of doing whatever feels right, and eating whatever I want!
Q. How to handle each member?
Yejun – He loves it when you reply to everything with "yo yo", like a rapper.
Bamby – He gets happy when you say "Nice!" to everything.
Eunho – Tell him "You're really good at that" and he'll love it.
Hamin – He lights up when you say, "You've really toned up lately."
Q. What is the most important thing in your own "user manual"?
I need time to recharge.
