PLAVE appeared on the cover of anan magazine, issue 2469. On "ananweb", all five members showcased their unique personalities in a lighthearted Q&A series. Closing out the feature is Hamin, one of the "Dancerz" duo in charge of choreography and PLAVE's main dancer.
Q. What is the first thing you do after waking up?
I start my day by drinking warm water, taking probiotics, brushing my teeth, making my bed, and stretching.
Q. What do you do before going to bed?
I take a refreshing shower, apply a face mask, and lie down with my legs elevated to improve circulation after a full day of dancing. Then, I spend time connecting with PLLIs on social media.
Q. What is your idea of a perfect day?
For me, the best kind of day is a peaceful, uneventful one where I feel good. And right now? It is already perfect.
Q. What is a small joy in your daily life?
Lately, I've been drawing on my phone. Seeing PLLIs smile when I share my art with them brings me joy.
Q. A phrase you often say?
"Eh!?" (laughs) I mishear things often and end up asking again. I say it to the members too, and every time, hyungs give me this look like, "He's so cute." (laughs).
Q. What flavor do you like best?
I didn't eat much spicy food before, but now I love it—like kimchi ramen or spicy chicken. I'm a grown-up now!
Q. If you could create a new holiday, what would it celebrate?
Since my special ability is related to binary code (when I think deeply, 0s and 1s appear above my head), how about making January 11th "Binary Day"?
Q. Something you just can't throw away?
The older-brother charm — the kind you'd call "oppa" in Korean.
Q. What do you have the most of in your photo folder?
Dance practice videos.
Q. What is your favorite entertainment work?
The Spider-Man movie!
Q. Something you always keep in your fridge?
Zero-calorie ion water, plain water, and facial masks.
Q. Moment that made you laugh recently?
I played rock-paper-scissors with hyungs over something, and I won! That made me smile.
Q. Moment that made you cry recently?
That is a secret!
Q. Your charm point?
My sense of humor and attentiveness. I am always looking out for hyungs, and I never miss a funny moment — whether it's on stage or during livestreams.
Q. What are you strongest at within the group?
Physical stuff, stamina, and quick reflexes in games — I always come out on top!
Q. In what way do you think you have grown since debuting?
Confidence. Spending time with hyungs has helped me believe that we can accomplish anything.
Q. A compliment that makes you happy?
"You gave me strength, Hamin." Whether it is through my performances, the messages I share, or the way I carry myself — it means I have touched someone's heart.
Q. How do you motivate yourself?
Let's make each day count. Be here, fully, in this moment!
Q. Compliment yourself.
"You are like a vitamin — always helping the other members shine and keeping everyone smiling! And by the way, I think your jokes are the funniest of all."
Q. What is a reward you give yourself?
Spending time alone at home. Eating something tasty like chicken, watching dramas, and just relaxing — that's the best treat.
Q. How to handle each member?
Yejun – He is known for being kind. If you shower him with cuteness and gently tap his head as you pass by, he'll absolutely love it.
Noah – He listens to everything with care and takes it to heart. Open up to him, and you will feel the bond grow.
Bamby – He is often in his own world. If you quietly watch over him, he'll be happy when you ask things like "Wanna grab a bite?" or "Wanna go somewhere?" at just the right moment.
Eunho – Just like me, he loves compliments and anything funny. Show him something hilarious or act out a funny scene, he'll laugh all day!
Q. What is the most important thing in your own "user manual"?
Give me lots of compliments! At least 5 to 10 times a day. If you do, I will give it my all.
HAMIN
Born 1st November ????. As one of the "Dancerz," he is in charge of choreography and serves as PLAVE's main dancer. His background in taekwondo fuels his dynamic style, and his youngest-member charm makes him beloved by his older members. The latest Japanese word he's learned is shinme — "new sprout".
Profile:
PLAVE is a K-pop virtual idol group that debuted in Korea in March 2023. The group consists of Yejun, Noah, and Eunho—known as the "Producerz" for their songwriting and production—and Bamby and Hamin, who handle choreography as the "Dancerz". Known for their musical talent and high-level performances, PLAVE made their Japanese debut in June. They're currently on an Asia tour, with their first solo concerts in Japan held on November 1st and 2nd.
